[ OVERVIEW ]

Borneo is the third largest island and home to Mt. Kinabalu and Rafflesia, the largest flower in the world. This country makes the traveller feel like a gnome, walking in mushroom rain forests and playing with Orangutans in Sepilok. More rigorous activities include rafting the Padas river and manoeuvring through the great bat caves of Sarawak.

[ HIGHLIGHTS ]

Sarawak and Sabah are a naturalist’s dream, home to extraordinary biodiversity with thousands of plant species, hundreds of birds, and diverse wildlife including proboscis monkeys, macaques, and the iconic orangutan.

In Sarawak, travellers can also experience rich indigenous culture, including an overnight stay in an Iban longhouse, where traditional stories and oral histories are shared. Journeys through the region include trekking in pristine rainforest, exploring some of the world’s largest cave systems in Gunung Mulu National Park, and witnessing its dramatic limestone pinnacles.

The adventure continues in Sabah, where travellers ascend above the jungle canopy to the summit of Mount Kinabalu before exploring forest reserves and visiting orangutan rehabilitation centres.
