After the launch of Ibex Expeditions Journey to Antarctica this year, our second departure is from 2 – 11 March 2018.

Led by poet and adventurer, Himali Singh Soin this journey crosses the historic Drake passage and weaves along the Antarctic edge. There will be opportunity of seeing whales at close quarters off Zodiac boats and interacting with penguins. An epic, once in a lifetime expedition. Where we will also be supportive of Project 2041 which is led by Robert Swan to protect Antarctica from future exploitation when the Antarctic treaty is opened for renegotiation.

During days at sea, you’ll enjoy lectures and workshops presented by our Expedition Team and spend time on deck looking for seabirds and cetaceans. Other days are packed full with multiple landings, Zodiac cruises and activities. We will have the opportunity of seeing whales at close quarters and interacting with penguins. Exhausting or relaxing, smiles abound as do great meals from your onboard chefs!
