Behind the success of the 23 year old company, is the Founder and Managing Director - Mandip Singh Soin, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, UK and an intrepid explorer, mountaineer and personally committed to saving our environment.

With over 31 years of experience in the outdoors with trips ranging from mountain expeditions and treks, to polar expeditions, exploratory expeditions, and unique first time ventures such as elephant, camel and wild life safaris, Mandip's experience is wide and varied.

Anita, Mandip's wife, a Director with Ibex, coordinates the Delhi head quarter's operations and takes special interest in the unusual off beat eco and cultural trips.

The Ibex guides are a group of exceptional individuals who are educated, excel in wilderness skills, have a wealth of expedition experience, are good humoured and work endless hours to maximise the enjoyment of your tour

Our field staff include guides, and cooks, porters and helpers, ever striving to make the tour, successful, braving all weather conditions. It is with pride that we claim to have some of them working with us since the inception of the company in 1979.

Not to be forgotten are the hard working office staff who keep the entire operation running. Their enthusiasm, hard work, attention to detail, and the willingness to help out where ever and whenever necessary, makes them invaluable to us.
